Everyone who competes in the game goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that wont last.

But we do it for a crown that will last forever. Therefore I don’t run like a man running aimlessly. I don’t fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it slave so that after I have preached to others I myself will not be disqualified from the prize.

Strength is Happiness. Strength is itself victory. In weakness and cowardice there is no happiness. When you wage a struggle, you might win or you might lose. But regardless of the short-term outcome, the very fact of your continuing to struggle is proof of your victory as a human being. A strong spirit, strong faith and strong prayer –developing these is victory.

Hello, my name is Sonya Anthony and I have been a client of "Pro
Intellect & Trained Sports" since July 2010 and my wonderful trainer's
name is "Coach D" (Derek Armah). Since that time and until now I learned
and disciplined my mind and body to adapt to a healthier way of life by
allowing Coach "D" to apply his learned and passionate knowledge and
skills to my occasional work out regime in regards to physically
strengthening and conditioning my body along with mentally strengthening
and conditioning my mind also. Coach "D" is a very consistent and
persistent trainer. He not only focuses on the physical aspect of
training but also incorporates the importance of eating well balanced
meals and being medically healthy. Coach "D" is a real motivator and
very passionate about his job because it is something that is very
evident that he loves to do. I can truly say that coming to "Pro
Intellect & Trained Sports" and having Derek Armah as my coach and
trainer was one of the greatest decisions I have ever made!

Thanks a bunch,

My name is Prince Simunyu and I am a student athlete at Brevard College (football). I take football very serious and I’m the kind of person that strongly believes that the harder a person works outside of football the more dominant he will be under the lights. I work hard for everything that I desire and care for in life, and my goals are amongst those things.

In all I have several goals I want to achieve in life, but athletically I strive to be the best athlete I can be, both physically and mentally. I believe that when I reach the latter goal the sky will be the limit. My workouts with Derek have been an educating and tough experience. Derek’s procedures are unique because they challenge your body and mind, which is the reason they are so difficult, yet so enlightening. It is the type workout I need and want, because I am certain that it will enable me to succeed!

I first began working with Derek in January. I went to him because I needed someone who would guide me in my weight loss journey.

My goals were to lose weight, strengthen my arms and legs, and hopefully eliminate the need for medications. Because I take medication for high blood pressure and I felt that a better physical state would end the need for those medications.

Derek is a great trainer although there were times where I wanted to choke him. He is fair and he pushes you but never beyond what is safe. He is a great motivator and I enjoy working with him

My name is Tionna and I’m currently 265 pounds. Back in 2007-2008 I decided that it was time for me to get my life in order as high blood pressure and diabetes runs in my family. I decided I didn’t want that to pass down to me. Even though I had joined gyms in the past, I didn’t have the mindset then to work out and make it work in my favor.

In mid 2007 I decided it was time to get on the right path. From 2007-2008 I lost roughly 40 pounds, pretty much without dieting, just watching what I ate and exercise with a trainer. Then the holidays roll around in 2008 and I got comfortable with everyone saying I looked good and didn’t need to lose any more weight. I started to eat what I wanted and stop working out, and the result was that I gained back 15-20 pounds.

Although I want to be healthy and live a productive life, exercise is not an easy task for me because I really don’t like to workout; it just isn’t fun to me. The types of exercises that I now like are squats, weights, cardio and the warm-up exercises. My least favorite type of exercise are lunges, push-ups, mountain climbers and running…Not a fan of running but I’m trying to push myself to like it.

I’ve decided that I’m not happy where I’m at and that my ideal weight is around 215 which would put me in about a size 14. I don’t want to be a skinny chick, just healthy and loving me. So, this time around I’m going to reach my goal by working out, watching what I eat and just trying to keep a positive mind frame that the sky is the limit.
